
In working outside of sales, I’ve acquired knowledge and skills that few salespeople have. The first is an ability to write well. Because I worked as a professional writer for several years, I can write to customers in ways they find informative, and even enjoy reading. I can also create custom documents, such as single-page product comparison sheets, as needed.
Another uncommon strength of mine is my technology background. I’m well-suited to sell tech products, having worked closely with software developers and server administrators in the past. I’m well-prepared to sell a wide variety of products, actually, because all sorts of machines are augmented and controlled with chips and software these days.
