
Hiring the right salesperson for your company isn’t a simple undertaking. It involves answering some important questions:
- Is the salesperson skilled? Can he relate to our customers in a way that appeals to them, win their trust, and build good relationships?
- Can he close the sale? Can he ask for the sale, persevere when customers aren’t ready to buy, and close it when they indicate they are?
- Is he good to work with? Does he keep things on track and well-organized, while working smoothly with others in a company?
To help you answer these questions, I am happy to do a “tryout” with your company: designate a product for me to sell, I’ll take some time to familiarize myself with it (and the market), and then I’ll “sell” it to you the next day.
